In this presentation, Magneti Marelli gives an introduction to the standardised validation process of its testing department at Châtellerault. It's is explained how they have standarsised their tools and process and reached a high level of maturity. Model Based Testing has become a real and efficient engineering process to improve all testing jobs currently done in automotive electronic development.

MaTeLo is used by numerous automotive players in their validation process (model, software, hardware and system). MaTeLo offers a systematic way to generate the needed test cases for the validation, and insures the test coverage and quality assessment. MaTeLo model contains a generalization of the SUT uses cases from the tester point of view.
